II pet. 2:12
"But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not;and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;"
Man is a good image created, this is because, he was created after the likeness of God and our God is a good God, that is why man is good.
Some things has changed and most men have changed, from that good image in which God has created them into something entirely different.
There are two types of men;
*Outwardly they are men; inwardly they are not(they behave like beasts, doing all sort of disgusting things).
*Outwardly they are men; inwardly they are still men.
II cor. 13:5
"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?"
#How To Discern The Inward Man
*They feel delight in the law of God, Rom. 7:22.
*They are lovely, caring and faithful to their wives.
*They are always grateful to God, fellow men for help rendered.
*They always want to walk in the good path, Jer. 6:16.
#How To Discern The Outward Man
*They always want to look good, make their hairs, adorn themselves with jeweleries, golds and apparels.
God looks at what is inside: Men looks at what is outside(because they cannot see what is inside).
That is why we need to adorn ourselves in modest apparels so as not to fall into temptation due to the outward look(the way we dress and package ourselves).
God wants us to adorn more of the inward than outward man.
