If you want to be a disciple of Christ, you can be. Christianity is so sweet that you do not have to fill a form or take permission from anyone to be a disciple of Christ.
Once you begin to follow the ways that has been laid down by Christ, you will surely be a disciple. This results that, not only apostles are disciples.
A disciple must learn the teachings of Christ and put them in use. Use them in your day to day lifestyle.
Let’s check the Bible in the book of Luke 6:46 which tells us that; “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
You are only worthy to call Christ Lord when you do the things that he says, the things that he did and the things that he wants us to be doing.
If you can achieve that, you do not need any human, any pastor or apostle to tell you that you are a disciple of Christ.
It is an in built thing. You are definitely going to know that you have become a disciple of Christ.
There is only a little difference between disciples and apostles.
In the story of how Jesus Christ chose his twelve disciples, he gave them the power to cast out evil spirit and a little things which made them apostles. This now makes it clear that there is a difference between being an apostle and being a disciple.
You can be a disciple if you want to and the Lord will definitely see you through the journey.
For us to be called true disciples of Christ we have to follow and obey all his commandments.
