The only method to speak with God is via prayer. And he will only hear our prayers if we pray with a pure heart.
God does not heed the pleas of sinners. God is just, and he wants us to follow in his footsteps. If our heart is pure, he will hear our requests.
Prayer is a request that should not be made in vain, but rather repeated on a regular basis.
Because prayer is a request or plea, we should not pray in vain and we should always get straight to the point when praying. There were twelve apostles when the eleven apostles were looking for a replacement for Judas so that the twelve might be completed again, the prayed a short prayer and when straight to the point.
this example above, show that the apostles' prayers were brief as an example for us to follow. Prayer should be offered from the heart. Every doctrine we learn should be kept in our hearts so that it might become living rivers of water flowing continuously through our hearts and minds. Because the calm that comes from above is contagious. We should also learn to help anyone who is in need. Ephesians 4:31 tells us that Our prayers will not be for forgiveness if our heart is full of evil or deception. The only way for God to answer our prayers is to avoid all wicked practices.
According to Matthew 5:37
The prayers of liars are ignored by God. He bestows blessing on those who tell the truth. We should let our yes be yes and our no to be no. We should not deceive someone with our words because we want to benefit from them. Our hearts should be free from evil act. If our heart is bad, our ways will be bad.
Important factors:
We should always learn to go straight to the point when we are praying.
Prayer is a request, it's should be short and precise.
Always speak the truth no matter what it might cost.
Formal believe:
I learnt about prayer and it should be short and precise, whereby improving my formal believe about prayer.
How does the study affect our daily lives;
If we put the words into practice whereby improving our prayer life, our we not experience set back.
