Summary of what I learnt:
Proverbs 15:8
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
I learnt that the gospel of Christ should be preached freely and not for money.
2 Corinthians 11:7
7:Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
Bro. Eli highlighted that most religions cannot be united because the intentions of tmost of the preachers are not the same. Some are preaching for their selfish interest while some are preaching for the kingdom sake. Note this; Every work we do shall be brought into judgement at the last day of our life.
Ecclesiastes 12:14
14:For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Those who fear God has a guardian angel and is always protected by God but when you lose the fear of God you will be exposed to a lot of dangerous things.
Psalm 34:7
7:The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
There are treasures laid up in our hearts and all the things come from within which is the heart.
Luke 6:45
45:A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
The word is what we use to build our hearts.
Psalm 119:11
KJV:Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
