Meditation in the biblical context means the law of God nit the law of Men
the book of psalms 1 was one of my very favorite scriptures growing up, because in that scripture I saw the basics principles of Christianity, that if we do this then this is what will be so the psalmist made a references to the book of Joshua 1:8 that we should meditate in the word of God and follow its precepts amd in doing so we will find good success...
so the question now is what is the proper way for a Christian to meditate, how can we effectively meditate to gain what the what if God calls Good success,
according to the teachings of Bro Eli meditation in the Christian context is about doing the word of God living it, actually practicing it, mediation is acting the word, the Bible told us not to be only hearers of the word but also doers also
so the Bible says do not steal, do not kill don't do wrongs if we abide by this word then that's the proper way a believer should meditate
as we saw in the verse 3 of psalms 1
Psalms 1:3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
all this are the fruits of living the word out, not just folding legs and arms memorizing verses rather going all out living the word, the Bible tells of the numerous blessings that will come to us if we meditate (dwell, stay, act, the word)
I encourage you today to not just be hearers but doers of the word...
We are christians and we meditate on the word
