Hello good people of the MCGI Hive community, hope we are all enjoying the goodness of God in our lives, God be with us all.

It was a indeed a powerful time in the presence of God as I was privileged to participate in the MCGI Cares Live Event, a program that teaches us how we should behave and live our lives as a Christian.
Important lesson learned from the teachings
The word of God is where the wisdom for our salvation co mes from. The scriptures is very important and we must always depend on the word for us to be saved.
Mathew 12::27. As a believer we must learn how to speak. it is through the word that comes out of our mouth that we are justified and sanctified. we are always judged by our word whether knowingly or unknowingly, therefore we must be careful of how we speak.
The tongue contains both a evil and good. The evil things done by our tongue are very dangerous, a grievous word always stir up anger, it very important that Christians learn how to control their tongue.
1Peter 3:10. We must leave evil and seek for peace. A good Christian must ensure he always bring peace and not evil everywhere he goes.
Proverbs 13:3. You must guide your tongue because it is your life. Your tongue contains fire that if not guided would cause harm to your life. Guard your mouth, guide your life. He that opens his mouth wide shall bring destruction into himself, we must learn how to control our tongues.
Anger
Anger is that strong and bitter emotions that we feel when someone do something we do not like or when bad things happen to us.
Controlling of anger can be difficult sometimes but there measures to take in order to control it such as;
- Talking to someone.
- stepping away from the cause of the anger
- Exercise and relaxation.
Bro Eli taught us the scriptural way of controlling our angers.
Romans 12:20. We are not to pay evil for evil. We are expected to be patient and not to be quick to anger, we must learn how to forgive one another when we are wronged because it is part of the commandment of God.
Foolishness is in heart of every child. We must learn to how to correct our children when they do the wrong thing, a little spank would kill them but we teach them a lesson not to commit such offence again. Always keep the doctrine of God in your heart so you will know how to rebuke your children in the way of the Lord.
It is always good to do good, we should always help the poor and the needy. The MCGI Cares team has shown us a good example on how we should do good to our fellow men, let us learn from them and do good according to how God has blessed us.
