The teaching of Brother Eli on God's protection is very eye-opening and we are being reminded that long before we were born, that God already set systems where it is to preserve life on earth.
From the ozone layer, to filtering of our solar radiation, to the atmosphere burning, it was before they even reached us. So these aren't random accidents, they are evidence of that we have a Creator who planned our safety with wisdom and love.
What happened the most is the reminder that God's protection is not limited to righteous or even sinners. Even sinners, unbelievers and those who reject him still benefit from God's goodness and care.
As Brother Eli has already explained, 2 Matthew 5:45, God lets the sun rise and for both the righteous and the unrighteous and the sinners and those that are not sinners. This is a love beyond human comprehension. There is also a confrontational balance between, God's inner protection of power in my time and special protection for those who fear him.
As shown in Psalm 34:7, we are being assured that while God sustains the whole world, we will even do our service closer to those who seek him. So part of this teaching is about of the patient, a messian, constant guardian over every other person on earth.
There is no protection for sinners except they come into the knowledge of light through Jesus Christ or else they fall into eternal damnation
