Brother Eli talking about prayer in Philippians 4 and Hebrews 11. This teaching captures the importance of approaching God through prayer in terms of faith and trust.
Prayer is not just a ritual but it is a heartfelt request to God of what we can accomplish by our own man, wisdom and strength. When we face this illness, this disaster of life that is filled with anxiety, we are called to lay these burdens before God. When there is a supplication that is given, trusting in the limitless power of God.
Brother Eli made emphasis about faith, which should be unshakable. In James 1 says, we are being warned that if we are to doubt God's ability, then it's like we are being tossed down by the sea, which is unstable and not fruitful.
When we pray, we must believe that God is ready to do and is capable to do all things and to reward us diligently. For instance, when we pray for loved ones, we are protecting them during crisis.
Let's cast aside all those worries, our doubts, and make a request now to God with gratitude. When we pray in faith, we align our hearts, trusting that God hears and answers us. We only seek God for him knowing that he has been our refuge and our fortress and our strength. God bless us.
We should seek Him only with faith. We can be what we are.
