Going by this teaching, we are made to understand that forgiveness is necessary not just because we want to forgive the other person, but because, it grant us the opportunity to be always be forgiven. Now the servant Of God says something, He says that; "Forgiveness is a virtue". Now I see why it is most times very difficult for people to forgive. And that's because, not everybody have this virtue of forgiveness.
But forgiveness is very necessary. God servant says that Sometimes we are offended because God allow it to be so. And as we all know that if God allow it to be, then there is also a purpose for it. We are offended so we can forgive which that will grant a way for our own forgiveness.
God servant further made mention of something that was so striking. He says that as a Christian, If someone should offend you, the first thing you should think of is forgiveness. This is indeed the mind of Christ.
