As we have learnt about the four kinds of heart that men has, three are evil, but no matter how evil the heart may be, God can change change and cleanse it. One of the way to have our heart cleansed and wash away our sins is BAPTISM.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
Baptism is one of the commandment and doctrine of God.
Baptism is the washing away of sins and the verification of salvation. It is the relegation of sin which done for the repentance of sin. It's main purpose is for remission of sin and to receive the gifts of the Holyghost.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Where should baptism be carried out?
Baptism should be done in the house of God which is the church of God. That is where the name the name of God is.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
We are joined together by one spirit through Baptism irrespective of our tribes:
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
The right person who can baptize you is the one with the knowledge of God's commandment.
Do not fall into the hands of of Pastors who doesn't know the teaching of the word, not to talk of teaching people the commandment. If you submit yourself unto them, that means you are jeopardizing(risking) your salvation.
