Yes for someone to die in christ, he or she must give his or her life to christ geniusly.
And we must never go back to sinful life again. Jesus christ as came to the world and he as fight a battle on our behalf.
And he won the battle, so for us to overcome the wicked one we must strongly believe in christ and allow him to lead our life.
So that at the end we will also won the battle as he did and he told us in the bible that the battle we do face is for him.
