These are the things I learnt from the teaching:
God is pleased with in our prayers.
Daniel 9:18
[18]O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
James 5:17
[17]Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
The church of God is called the house of God, it should be a congregation of people who are prayerful.
1 Corinthians 1:10
[10]Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
The house of God must be a place of discipline, so when we are in the church we must be calm in behavior without distractions, that is why we face the east during worship, since the Bible says the glory of God comes from the east, facing the east is just our way of disciplining ourselves not a doctrine.
Zechariah 8:7
[7]Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
