These are the things I learnt from the teaching
You can't have love without faith and hope because love believe in all things. When you reject faith it means you reject love and hope.
1 Peter 4:8
[8]And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
We are to love one another with the love of God.
You can't love one another when you are alone.
Ecclesiastes 4:10-12
[10]For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
[11]Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
[12]And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
We should not be lost in love but remain in love.
We should always abide with the instructions of Jesus and the scripture.
1 Corinthians 13:8,13
[8]Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
[13]And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
We can't say we love God who we can not see and hate our brethren who is around us that we can see.
1 John 4:20
[20]If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
We should always imitate Christ, the character of Christ must be in us. We should learn to obey what Christ said.
John 13:34-35
[34]A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
[35]By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
We should be fervent with love among ourselves, it will not grow cold easily. Whenen we do good to our fellow men we do it for Christ. Loving your brethren is loving Christ.
We should take advantage of the opportunity to do good.
Romans 16:17
[17]Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
