Good morning to you all from my end and a prosperous day to you as well. I want to share my insight today on the gospel topic What is the right path in the bible brought to us by brother Eli. Soriano
In our world today, there is continuous rise in religious leaders but then each religious leader brings about their own doctrine, their own way of doing things, their own percieved way of the right path. So comes the question of the day, what is actually the right path according to the bible? Reading the book of Isaiah 56 verse 11 and it says;
"Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter."
This verse is shuns those shepherds of God's sheep, that is the religious leaders who focus on their personal gain rather than building the body of Christ and showing the followers of Christ the correct path.
The book of Ecclesiastes 5 verse 10 lets us learn that lovers of silver shall never have enough neither those who love abundance. Therefore, it is not wise to continue to look for personal gain when leading the body of christ because nothing is never enough. Reading the book of Jerimiah 6 verse 16 gives us a correct path to follow
"Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein."
In this verse, we are told to walk in the way of the lord, to ask for the old path and that is where our soul shall find rest. This verse clearly spells out the right path to be the the path of righteousness and faithfulness to God (that is the old path)
Today after learning from brother Eli. teachings, I have come to understand that the old Path which prophet Jeremiah talked about is the correct path God wants us to follow.
