The Bible is a spiritual book. We cannot understand the bible without first forming a relationship with God.
We must first of all encounter God first before we can really know what the Bible is really talking about. We find many Christians going to church but they truly do not understand what is really in the word of God. Whatever you hear in the Bible is God speaking, but how can we know what is in the Bible without having a close relationship with God?
As believers we must be serious to know what the Bible is really talking about. We can do so by studying and meditating on the word of God. We must have our daily plan of studying the word of God. You can understand something if you don't read it first, that is why we must be diligent in studying the Bible. So many Christians are very lazy in reading the Bible. We have to study the Bible as believers regularly.
In order to guide us to understand the bible, the holy spirit is there to help us. The holy spirit is the greatest teacher of the word of God. It was the holy spirit that guided the writers of the bible. And thesame holy spirit is what will guide and explain to us what the Bible is saying.
Let us pray the holy spirit guide us in knowing all the truth the bible is talking about.
