I have learnt that human nature is negatively biased and this can lead us to loss trust in people. We should develop positive thoughts rather than negative thoughts towards our neighbours. Satan does not what us to have a positive thoughts in our mind all he's thinking and interested in is evil, bad things, how to get things and people destroyed. Satan is an evil influencer, there's no truth in him, there's no good in him, he's tge creator and founder of all evil.
I have also gained that God is the originator and creator of all good things, if we have good thoughts then is from God because all good things comes from Him. Therefore our thoughts needs to be controlled by the righteousness of God, we need to fix our heart on God to be able to see the beauty in his character if we do that consistently then we will look like him.
The study of God's word has met my belief system that to think of evil is against the will of God and also a sin in the sight of God. I was able to undertake that when we have a pure heart towards our fellowmen is a good channel to see God at work in our lives fighting our battles for us and winning for us. Even when the enemies is against us, God in his infinite mercy will raise a standard against the camp of the enemy for our sake just because we have a pure heart towards God and towards our fellowmen.
I must say through the songs and drama presentation this study of God's word practically has affected me positively that God is watching over his own, if they plan to hurt us God will helo us and deliver us from their evil plot. There are si many things we need to desist from if we really wants to be on the Lord's side viz; gossip,bitterness, unforgiveness, malice,jealousy, and so on.In all we should abstain from all evil acts that does not glorify God and embrace good works and good deeds.
My personal revelation is that we should guard our heart because is only the pure in heart that will see God. Our heart should be kept clean and we can only achieve this through the word of God, studying, meditating and doing what he has commanded us to do.
In conclusion we should give dues to whom is due to hounour and in tribute, giving alms is not bad but a good act of giving as demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ. If is in our power to do then we shouldn't hesitate to do so. We should also cast our cares upon God because he cares for us.
