What is baptism in the Bible? (Part 2 of 3)

Hello everyone.

I am here to contribute to today's Bible exposition question: What is baptism in the Bible (part 2).

It is not only in river Jordan that John baptized.
Let's read John 3:23"And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there:and they came and we're baptized.
So John knows what he is doing when he baptized Jesus Christ with some other people because it is the right place for baptism and he knows that river Jordan is not the only place for baptism.
So,it is stupid to say that you have to go to river Jordan to be baptized.
Baptism is a step to salvation.
1 Peter 3:20-21"Which sometime were disobedient,when once the long-suffering of God waited in the days of Noah,while the ark was a preparing,where in few that is, eight souls were saved by water.
The like figure where unto even baptism doth also now save us( not the putting away of the fifth of the flesh,but the answer of a good conscience toward God) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
God used water to wipe out corruption because the world is full of corruption.
If you are going to believe or conclude for you to be saved is for you to be baptized in the river Jordan that is impossible for the poor.
It is depriving them of the salvation which is not logical or biblical.
Acts 8:36"And as they went on their own way,they came unto a certain water:and the eunuch said,see, here is water, what doth hinder me to be baptized?.
Verse 27"and he arose and went and behold a man of Ethiopia,an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure,and had come to Jerusalem for to worship.
So,it is not a must that one be baptized in the river Jordan as many think.
One can also be baptized in any river just like John baptized people in the river at Aenon because is close to them instead of traveling miles to be baptized in the river Jordan.
