Hello everyone

I am here to contribute to today's Bible exposition question: What is the Faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43?(part 5 of 7).

God wants us to do good works, As long as we live on earth, doing good will give you the qualifications to inherit God's kingdom.
Matthew 7:24
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Verse 25
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
I believe you know that everything Jesus Christ said are good works.
There are some examples of what he said that are good works.
Love your enemies,do not hate them( Matthew 5:44),
Give your neighbor something to eat when he is hungry and drink when he is thirsty.
There is a great loss for all who hate doing good works.
The real truth in the Bible is that we have to do good works with our faith for us to be saved.
James 2:22
"Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?"
It is the type of faith you have that will save you.
A very big Faith will save you and it is by good works your faith is made perfect.
So the Faith of any Christian body or sector without good works is dead.
Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed not as in my presence only but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
As we have always obeyed. We need to obey the word of God at all time. This will help our faith become perfect.
