What is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43? (Part 1 of 7)

Hello Everyone!

I want to contribute to the question: What is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43? (Part 1 of 7)

Our own righteousness cannot meet God's standard for righteousness, however, if we accepts Jesus, believe in him, we'll become the righteousness of God through Jesus.

According to Isaiah 64:6;

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

The good news is that God made Jesus to be sin for us so that we'll become the righteousness of God through him according to 2 Corinthians 5:21

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

So as the thief on the Cross instantly believed Jesus and accepts him as his lord, he became the righteousness of God through Jesus and was able to make heaven.
