The Best Way To Live A Teenage Life | Part 2 of 2 | The Old Path

in MCGI Cares Hivelast year

Hello brethren.

I appreciate God for yet another privilege to share what I learnt, on the topic, "The Best Way To Live A Teenage Life"

I learned that, the best way to live a teenage Life is after the manner of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, not the 10 commandments or laws of Moses.
The preaching of the Lord Jesus Christ is the preaching of the gospel, not of the 10 Commandments or the law of Moses. Christ did not preach the 10 Commandments. The 10 Commandments, in its statutes and judgment, asked the Jews to love fellow Jews but hate their enemies. But in the preaching of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is clear that we have to love our enemies.
Matthew 5:43 -44

Ye have heard that it had been said, thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. That was that statute and the commandment in the law of Moses. But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them, which despite fully use you and persecute.

From the scriptures above, we can see that there is a great difference between the teachings of Moses in the Old Testament and the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ in the gospel. In the gospel you do not only love your neighbor, you love even your enemies. It is the best way of life to live on Earth. That's why the apostle Paul said in Philippians 1:27

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the Gospel of Christ.

The manner of life of a Christian that we must live must be a life worthy of the Gospel of Christ. As a teenager, the best manner of life you have to live is the Gospel of Christ. You have to live as a good Christian according to the Gospel of Christ, and the Gospel of Christ is the totality of the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The doctrine of Christ is the gospel. This must be our way of life. In the gospel of Matthew 5, Jesus said, blessed are the poor in his spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of God. In verse four, blessed are they that mourn today, for they shall be comforted. blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. It includes meekness. Blessed are they, which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Next, blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. So if we read and learn the gospel, we'll will know the fundamental doctrines of Christ which must be our way of life.
