Zoom Bible Exposition 14/07/2021

Here are some of the lessons i learnt from the Bible exposition that was held on zoom on the 14th of July 2021.

Brother Eli spoke on the importance of removing wicked people from our midst. Those who don’t want change should be excommunicated. Especially if they have a record of continuously perpetuating evil without adhering to correction.
1 Corinthians 5:13 God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”
Sadly, many pastors harbor in their church by covering them up because of the generous donations they receive from them. The Bible has instructed that we should give them a fair warning before resulting to such actions. We can find this in
Titus 3:10 As for a person who stirs up division, safter warning him once and then twice, thave nothing more to do with him.

Brother Eli also spoke on the appointed day of judgement where every man would be answerable to everything that he does.
Acts 17:31 For he has set a day when he will judge(A) the world with justice(B) by the man he has appointed.(C) He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.
No one would be exempted even if we die we shall give account for what we have done with our body. Now that we still have the chance to decide for ourselves it is necessary to follow the right path for a time would come where we can’t decide anymore, maybe at the point of death or judgement day.

He also spoke on the issue of marrying a man/woman of a different faith. He said the church cannot decide who you would marry, that is a personal choice. They church can guide you but you would eventually choose for yourself. We can see this in 1 Corinthians 7:13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him.
