These are some of the highlighted lessons picked up from the mass indoctrination day 12. August 17th 2021.

I learnt that not every seed a farmer sow grows to maturity, some don’t even find a fertile soil to begin their growth, some fall on rocks, some on the roadside, others are eaten by birds only few have the chance of growing in a conducive environment. This analogy can be likened to the word of God, it is the seed that’s alive that has been planted by Christ, naturally not everyone would want to hear or nurture the seed in their heart, some pay deaf ears towards what is been taught those people can be likened to be the seeds that fell on the roadside or any other non conducive atmosphere for growth. In order for us to grow in Christ we must nurture the word of God in our hearts so we can experience growth in joy and fulfillment.
Matthew 13:4-7 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Brother Eli explained that there are 4 kinds of hearts, The first one are those that hear the word of God but it will not produce because the heart is on roadside or not fertile.
The second kind of heart is a stony heart. This type hears the word of God, but the word will not be able to be rooted in it because of its stony nature, therefore it will not be able to grow and be nurtured to full maturity.
The Third Kind of heart is the thorny heart. This heart hears the word of God but the word will not be able to produces because the heart is bothered with worldly desires.
The fourth kind of heart is the fertile heart. Those that will hear the word of God, meditate on it, and then act on it which causes the word of God to grow and produce fruits in plentiful folds, this is the heart that all christians are expected to have daily. A heart that is ready nurtured and conducive for the seed of Christ to grow and find expression.
We might want to ask what to do if our heart is not a conducive place, well God is ever ready and willing to renew it if our we will give him the chance.
It is not His will that any should perish but to come to repentance.
Thank you for reading through and have a wonderful day.
