Here are some of the highlighted lessons i learnt from the masses indoctrination day 3.

Brother Eli’s spoke about prayer. This is a very delicate topic because it is one way we communicate to our Lord God, Therefore it has to be done with care and respect, approaching God with a pure heart is key.
Let’s say you want to ask your father or mother for a favor, you don’t just walk into their bedroom and say anything you like, the polite way to do it is to show some level of respect, then go ahead to talk about whatever the problem is, also in a polite way, then there is a reasonable chance of you getting what you asked for.
If we can do that to our earthly parents, how much more our Heavenly Father, we have to approach him with a sense of respect and politeness, we should always remember that He’s our creator and not just a friend we go to commune with.
We might want to ask what is the right way to pray? Or how should one pray?. To answer this, Brother Eli, read from the Bible, the book of
Matthew 6:7-8 which says “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him”.

From my own understanding, i see repeating prayer as a lack of faith in God, if you are in faith, you trust God that His ears are open to hear even our silent request, so when you keep repeating your prayer, it shows that you are doubting that God did not hear the first time you said it. So when you pray, express your faith that God has heard and your prayer is been answered because the Bible say in
1 John 5:15, NLT: "And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for."
Brother Eli also when further to show us in the book of
Proverbs 15:8 “The Lord detests the sacrifice(A) of the wicked,(B)
but the prayer of the upright pleases him.(C)“.

Most importantly when praying, it should be done without any grudge whatsoever in our hearts, we should forgive those that has offended us and confess our sins to one another.

Women should learn to have a covering on their head because of the angels but the man shouldn't cover his head. Because the head of a woman is the man but the head of man is Christ which is his Glory therefore he needs not cover it. We can see this in the book of
1 Corinthians 11:5-10
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.
9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
Thanks for reading through, have a window day.
