These are some of the lessons i picked up from the Mass indoctrination day 9 that took place in zoom on the 12th of August 2021.
Christ has urged us to love one another and perform good works to our fellow man even to our enemies, we should not also forsake the gathering of the brethren because it helps us check for mistakes and correct where needs to be corrected in our lives, we should try to criticize ourselves in love and understanding as Christ has showed us.
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Singing is another important aspect in our gathering because God loves worship and that’s one of the things we can do to move Him and be pleased with us, we learnt from the Bible that the angels sing in worship to Him. This tells us how much love God has for worship as it brings His presence down.
We can see how powerful singing is from the Bible When evil spirit was upon Saul and David played the instrument, immediately the evil spirit left Saul, paul and silas prayed and sang unto God and the were freed from prison.
1 Samuel 16:23 And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.
Revelation 5:8-11 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
Revelation 7:11
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
There are so many things we can do together when we gather as one, we know that good combination is always better than walking alone. When we are gathered we should also study the word of God and also expand our knowledge on the teachings of Christ through the ministration of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight
