God is speaking to the people through the prophet Amos. This was a people who held religious festivals, made sacrifices, sang, and much more, but even with all of this, they lived with their hearts far removed from the truth of God. To be clear: they put on a spiritual act, but in real life, they mistreated the poor, were unfair in their dealings, were deceitful and deceitful, and cared absolutely nothing about those in need.
In this regard, God would tell us: I don't want anything you can offer me if it's not in tune with justice. This verse invites us to begin living a genuine life, to seek a real and living faith, to not be a spiritual facade, but to let our spirituality also be demonstrated in how we treat others. May judgment, that is, the decisions we make, flow like water; may it not be just a drip that only works at times, but may justice be like a strong, unstoppable, and impetuous river.
This is a truth that must be paramount in our lives, in all relationships such as work, school, friendships, and so on. We must be mindful of living a life of integrity and justice, steadfast like a river that breaks even the hardest rocks and continues to flow.
But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.

Dios está hablando al pueblo a través del profeta amos, este era un pueblo que hacía fiestas religiosas, hacía sacrificios, cantaba y mucho más pero aún así con todo eso vivía con su corazón muy lejos de la verdad de Dios, para ser más claros: hacían todo una actuación espiritual pero en la vida real maltrataban a las personas pobres, no eran justos con sus tratos, eran tramposos y engañadores, no les importaba absolutamente nada de aquellos necesitados.
En este aspecto Dios nos diría: no quiero nada de lo que me puedes ofrecer si no está sintonizado con la justicia. Este versículo nos invita a que comencemos a vivir una vida genuina, a buscar una fe real y viva, a no ser una fachada espiritual sino que nuestra espiritualidad también se demuestre de cómo tratamos a las demás personas. Que el juicio, es decir las decisiones que tomamos fluyan como el agua, que este no sea solamente una gotera que solamente funciona en algunos momentos sino que la justicia sea como un río fuerte imparable e impetuoso.
Esta es una verdad que tiene que ser primordial en nuestras vidas, en todas las relaciones como el trabajo, el colegio, las amistades entre otros, que seamos conscientes en vivir una vida de integridad y de justicia constante como un río que rompe hasta las rocas más duras para seguir corriendo.
Pero corra el juicio como las aguas, y la justicia como impetuoso arroyo.
