These days, we live in a world that exalts individualism and cries out for "do it alone," so that everyone can live their life without regard for others and without anyone interfering in their affairs. But the verse we see today shows us exactly another path: the path of being empathetic, of being a companion in a practical way.
The word is clear when it says "bearing burdens." It's not just about listening to someone and that's it; it's about standing alongside them, accompanying them, and helping them carry that weight, while at the same time telling them, "You are not alone in this; I am here to accompany you."
We have the greatest example: Jesus Christ, who not only preached all this but also lived it. Jesus wept with those who wept, stopped to embrace those who were marginalized, and literally took our sins upon Him. So when we choose to accompany someone, support them, or stand there, we are acting as Christ acted.
Being a Christian isn't just about believing, it's about bearing the burden together, it's about loving as He loved us.
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Galatians 6:2

En estos días estamos viviendo en un mundo que exalta al individualismo, clama a gritos "hazlo solo" como para que cada uno viva su vida sin importar a los demás y que nadie se meta en sus asuntos. Pero el versículo que vemos hoy nos muestra exactamente otro camino: el camino de ser empático, de ser compañero de una manera práctica.
La palabra es clara cuando dice "sobrellevar las cargas" no se trata solamente de escuchar a alguien y listo, se trata de ponerse a la par, de acompañarle y ayudarle a llevar ese peso, a la vez decirle "no estás solo en esto, estoy para acompañarte".
Tenemos el mayor gran ejemplo, Jesucristo quien no solamente predicó todo esto sino que lo ha vivido. Jesús lloró con los que lloraban, se detuvo a abrazar aquellos que han sido marginados, cargó en el nuestras culpas y esto de manera literal. Entonces cuando nosotros elegimos acompañar a alguien, sostenerlo o estar ahí azulado estamos actuando como Cristo ha actuado.
Ser cristiano no se trata solamente de creer, se trata de llevar juntos la carga, se trata de amar como él nos amó.
"Sobrellevad los unos las cargas de los otros, y cumplid así la ley de Cristo."
Gálatas 6:2
