WHAT I LEARNT:
Bro Eli made it clear that God's obligation to us is to do good to all men, even our enemies.
So we're to do good, and by doing good, the church of God would multiply.
Proverbs 11:30 tells us of the fruits of doing good.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Doing good can win souls for Christ.
In Luke 15:7, the Bible records that there's joy in Heaven over one soul that repents.
So God is always pleased with those that win souls.
A Bishop must be a husband of one wife according to 1 Timothy 3:2.
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach.
The lord said he'll multiply the church and they shall not be small, the church of God is not to be multiplied by promises of good job, connection, or by intermarriage.
Jeremiah 30:19
And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
According to Zachariah 8:7, the glory of God comes from the east to west.
So as the Member Church of God International started from the east and spread across to the west, meaning it's a fulfilment of God's prophecy.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country.
