For everything that was created there was a purpose that was assigned to it. As humans, it is important that we know for which purpose God formed us and sent us down to earth. If we lack this knowledge we end up going about our lives ignorantly. We are not to live life of our own accord but to respect as to why God created us.
Hebrews 10:24 - And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
As Christians we are called to be doers of good works. This is the commandment of God down to us His people. The manner of works being expressed through us really matters a lot. We ate easily identified by people based on our actions. When we do good we fulfill the purpose by which God created us.
Galatians 6:10 - As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
We should not set a boundary when doing good to people. If we are to do good to only people that are good to us then Jesus Christ would not have died on the cross for everyone because they were people who persecuted him and saw to it that he hung on the cross and die even though he was innocent. In life people will be there to offend us but that should not stop us from doing good.
We are existing for the purpose of God
