Hebrew 7:23–24, 2 Corithians 9:11, 2 Corithians 9:7, 2 Corinthians 8:1-4

Hi Welcome

Thanks to the Almighty for the wonderful opportunity he always gives us to learn the word of God, which is something that is worth doing as believers. It is always my pleasure to listen to Brother Eli's teaching, which is filled with the truth, hence in his teaching on "Is it biblical for Christians to pay tithe? Part 2.

This is an important teaching that every believer has to understand well in line with doing things in orderliness, hence with reference to Part 1, it teaches us that tithing was actually an obligated practice done in the Old Testament in order to support the ministry of the Levites, but ever since Jesus came, the law of tithing has changed, and Jesus is recognized as the priesthood that will reign forever.

So in spite of all this, based on the change of the law, that today we pay nothing in return for the salvation of God, let us understand that salvation is free to all men, but in spite of it being free, it does not stop us from doing the work of God by helping others, which builds and announces the work of salvation with the ministry we are called.

So in line with the teaching from Brother Eli Soriano, let us understand that Jesus came for us to have the grace of abundance, So brethren it is very important for us to understand that Jesus is the everlasting priesthood that has come to replace the law, so therefore the new law which is the law of Jesus Christ, is main to retain us with the work of salvation.

So in line with the new laws, it is established that the ten percent have been replaced with what is written in the book of 2 Corithians 9:7, which let us understand that every man has the right to give according to his heart desire, which is not based on necessity but with a pure heart, of which this verse lets us understand that God always loves a cheerful giver, which implies that we brethren are not meant to give grudgingly but rather with a clean and pure heart.

So therefore, the new law of Jesus Christ we are living upon gave us the privilege to decide and make decisions within our mind in terms of what we are willing to give as we propose in our inner mind, so breather, let this be our mind because it is just a means to support the work of salvation, which is biblical, as the people of Macedonia did in line to support the work of salvation, which is the reason Jesus came to earth for man's redemption.

The answer to caption is that having salvation is free for man, but we can give as much as we can in order to support the work of salvation that we are all called to do here on earth.

Moral Lesson

● Hebrew 8:24-24 It teaches us that giving should acknowledge and be in line with the new priesthood, in which we are expected to support the work of Christ.

● 2 Corinthians 9:11 teaches us that while we are giving, we are mainly to give with our pure hearts and not with grudges, which give God glory.

● 2 Corinthians 9:8 We are all encouraged to give with a cheerful mind without going contrary to doing what God expects from us over doing what is pleasing from our hearts in place to help.

● 2 Corinthians 8:1–4 This part of the scripture gave an example of what we believe and what the church of Macedonia did in support of the work of salvation.

Ten percent of our earnings is not biblical again in the new testament, God want us to give with a pure heart and willing.

Exactly and well said
