Good day everyone. Hope we are all enjoying the program. As for me, it been a means of refreshing my inner man.
Although ,I could not start up with the program due to work but the part I was able too meet up,was still awesome. God's word is ever refreshing.
Here are some of the things I learnt from the brief moments;
prayer should be without ceasing. and the prayer of the of the righteous availeth much. When a righteous man calls on God,God attend to his request. God is ever please to listen to him.
If we come as a Church and forsake our wicked ways ,God would forgive and heal us.
- 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
An example was shared, where Bro Ayo and others that prayed to God when they were attacked and the gun shoot did not penetrate through them.
If you want to pray and you are angry with your spouse, forget about the anger before you pray and God would listen.
Prayers to God for others can do such much for a fellow. If anyone around us is not ok, we can pray for such a person and they would be restored.If we obey God, before we start praying, he is already listen. God does not afflict willingly. Sometimes our punishment is because of our sins we do against God. On His own ,he won't be cruel to us. God loves man and that's why he sent his son to suffer for us. when we sin we should come to God and ask for mercy.
*Lamentations 3:39 Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?There is no problem that is bigger than God. He promise not to fail us. we should be content with what we have.
*Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.We should always come before God with our needs. God love us and that's why he sent his son to come and suffer for us. God is not cruel ,it is only our sins that brings those punishment on us.
*Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
when we have issue, we should fast and pray. before we even ask, God already listening if we obey his commandments. God would never forsake us.
*Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
When bro Eli plane was hit by vulture ,he prayed and was delivered John16:23.
- When we pray, we are expected pray to God in the name if the son and conclude with the name of Jesus and not any other name.
