Being a Peacemaker according to the Bible - MCGI Reflection

in MCGI Cares Hivelast month

‎There are various ways by which the devil manifests himself through people. One of them is through anger. God expects us to live in His divine purpose and that is why in Hebrews 8:10 he encoded his laws in our hearts that they may abide with us at all times and we live by them all the days of our lives.

‎If we live our lives in hostility then we are not different from the unbelievers. Instead of promoting chaos we should rather be agents of transformation in our homes, place of work or study, and the community at large. That is how a believer is expected to live their lives, and not in the reverse order.

‎Darkness cannot manifest unless we give room for it. The devil seizes every slight opportunity to strike and have his way. But we should be resistant to giving in to his will. Jesus was an embodiment of peace when He was on earth. Even when He was persecuted for no just reason he never returned evil for evil even though he had the power to do so.

‎Peace can be contagious. When we live a life that portrays peace it begins to transmit to our environment and people around us. In Christianity we don't return evil for evil but good for evil
