It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano.
In this world, not everything that happens is God’s will. It would be inaccurate to assume that every event occurring today is caused by God's desire. There are many things that take place that go against His will. Scripture tells us, “You shall not commit adultery.” Yet, we still see adultery happening everywhere. This does not happen because God wants it His commandments clearly show otherwise. It happens because human beings have been given free will.
God created us with the ability to choose, just as He gave angels free will. He wants us to love, serve, and obey Him freely not by force or compulsion. True worship comes from the heart, not from fear or external pressure. Some nations enforce obedience at gunpoint, threatening death if their rules are not followed. But God does not operate that way. He delights in those who choose to follow Him out of genuine faith and devotion, even in a world filled with temptation, evil influences, and disobedience.
God wants people who use their free will to obey Him wholeheartedly. That is how we truly serve Him. Not everything that happens is His will, sometimes it is the desire of a person, and sometimes it is influenced by Satan or evil spirits.
According to the book of Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"
For example, Mary Magdalene once lived under the influence of seven demons before encountering Jesus. Her past actions were driven by those evil spirits, not by God's will. In the same way, when people act under the influence of evil, it does not mean it is God’s purpose; rather, it goes completely against His will. God allows free will, but not everything done by human choice aligns with His desire.
