Greetings Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano
These two verses reveal two important realities about spiritual understanding. The Bible describes vision as something that can become sealed to people, just like the words of a closed book. When such a book is handed to someone who is learned—perhaps a scholar, theologian, or a highly educated and scientifically minded person—they may still say they cannot read it because it is sealed. This shows that education or high social status alone does not guarantee true understanding of God’s word.
God speaks through the pages of the Bible, but within those same pages there are forces that attempt to distort or oppose the truth God reveals. Scripture introduces Satan as the enemy of God, along with demons who work to cloud human understanding and bring darkness to people’s minds, preventing them from grasping the message of the Bible.
This truth is emphasized in 2 Corinthians 4:4, which explains that the minds of those who do not believe are blinded, so they cannot see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.
This explains why people—even those who are highly educated or influential—can still be ignorant of the Bible. However, this ignorance is not limited to the educated alone; in one way or another, almost everyone on earth lacks a full understanding of God’s word. Even among those who read the Bible daily, preach it, or translate it into different languages, misunderstanding can still exist.
Ignorance can be seen creeping into many areas of preaching and into society as a whole, where people struggle to truly understand God’s word. The book of Isaiah helps us understand why this happens. Learning the Bible is not easy, because it goes beyond human standards and earthly wisdom.
Isaiah 29:11–12 illustrates this clearly: the vision of God’s message is like a sealed book. When it is given to the learned, they say they cannot read it because it is sealed. When it is given to the unlearned, they say they cannot read because they lack learning. These verses show that spiritual understanding does not depend solely on education or lack of it, but on divine revelation and openness to God.
