We have two beings of man.
- Outward man
- Inward man
The outward man perish whilst the inward man does not perish. The things which are seen are temporal.
The things which are not seen are eternal.
2Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.
2Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.
Beware of false prophet. If we accept their teachings, we shall perish.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
2Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
Some people who are human outwardly but inside them there are animalistic behaviour.
Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, [so] a fool returneth to his folly.
Original meaning of man.
Man was created in the image and likeness of God. Man is not evil. Man should have good inner beings and outward being.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Let the law of the living God be in your heart always.
Romans 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Psalms 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law [is] within my heart.
Let us examine our selves if we are doing the will of God.
2Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Walk in the way of God, obey the commandment of God and find rest for your soul.
Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein].
Let us protect our health for us to be able to worship God very well.
When we put on the spirit of God in our heart, we will be able to live a good life.
We should wear a modest apparel.
