As parents, let us teach our children the word of God so that we can give them a future that is certain. We must make sure that our children are taught the things that they should know so that as they grow older, they won't experience depression. Depression comes in the life of a person when he is faced with issues in life that he has no ability to handle.
Since depression is a reaction of the mind, a person’s mindset is a really important factor when considering the possible ways one can deal with depression. When we have a mindset that has been cultured to be strong and stable in the face of trials and persecution, we can live a happy and stable life without any sense of anxiety.
Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Anxiety leads a person into depression. One must learn to remain stable and focus in life. We should pursue things in life calmly. We should put our trust in God. There is nothing that could possibly make us to opt out for depression or suicidal thoughts. God is able to preserve us. We should not be anxious about anything.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
For anyone contemplating these kinds of thinking, I want you to understand that life is worth living. There is no reason to think about suicide. Don't allow depression in your life.
As parents we should not neglect our Children, especially during their teenage age, they need our guidance through life
