From listening to preaching, I was made to understand that it is not just sufficient to pray, there is more than we can imagine. I was made to understand that if we don't want to follow God's ways, then our prayers are in vain.
The inspired scripture talks about "ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and ye shall find, Knock and the door shall be opened unto you", the preacher made us understand that we should not just ask, we should always take action for whatever we do. This is what God observes of us.
I would like to share a testimony of an experience. I remembered that I was first praying to get a good laptop. Still, I had no savings and was not even taking action to get the money, until God showed me the way to earn through Hive. Honestly, I started my journey and started earning gradually till I was able to afford a laptop, if i had not taken action to work out for the money and show up daily to earn, I don't think it would have been possible for me to a chieve the system, God showed me the wY and i also put i my action and effort.
After praying, we act accordingly, ask God what I must do for the right path to work out, this was what I deeply learnt from the preaching. Actions if the right steps to prayer. Sometimes we d9nt even know our prayers have been answered till we take a step to action before we know we are moving forward and achieving every necessary gain little by little.
In conclusion, I was made to understand that after asking and praying to God, we should go out to seek how to get it, and this will be our first step, but finding a job and making every necessary step to see our prayers are answered. Prayer needs action for us.
