If someone hurts us, the only thing we can do is get angry, and that is a reaction, but our personal self will either accept forgiveness or react with physical violence. I know some people are all tempered, we all have those feelings inside, but only a few can tolerate such experiences.
According to the preacher, he made use of the understanding that, according to the scriptures, the Bible describes us as being called to always learn to forgive ourselves and everyone around us, so that we may also forgive others. He also illustrated the scripture that says God will have mercy on people who forgive, and that by forgiving everyone around us, we are allowing God to forgive us too.
I understood that the reason why we encounter things that make us angry is because of 5he will of God, and God also want us to learn and forgive. We are all sinners and we must learn to forgive. When I was young, I hardly forgave anyone who hurt me or acted badly towards me because I saw this as part of life until I started experiencing my own aspect in another person's villain story, it was hard for me to understand this but growing up I realize learning to forgive is really important in life and we must learn to adapt to this system.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. This scripture keeps on ringing in my head daily, and I wonder if it is real. Guess what, it's so real. The moment you become merciful and forgiving towards people, that's when we get to witness great things ahead of us. It's all part of life, we must keep these old ways of forgiveness, it is the best way we can live and survive peacefully. I embrace everything negative that comes to me, yes, I react to it, but not for long because I also have my own feelings and I am a human too, but forgiveness goes beyond what we can ever imagine.
