Is It Biblical For Christains To Pay Tithes? (Part 2 of 2)

The day you gave your life to christ you were not told to pay for your salvation that is tp tell you that salvation is free like wise payment of tithe your are not forced to do so, you do that free with all joy and gladness of heart to ensure the work of God keeping going.

Remember in our previous part that is part 1 which Jesus Christ took over the office of the high priest and as a result the priest hood changed in which He will reign as a high priest for ever and we are under His priest hood.

2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Thr bible made us understand that giving to God is meant to be done with joy and happiness , it should not be something we fold our face to do.

Now the question we should ask ourselves is how do a christain give to God?: a christain having it in mind that he/she give (purpose) and given the ability by God to make decisions on giving should give cheerfully without having any fixed amount as lead by the Holy spirt to give.

Is not about paying tithe is about giving whole heartedly to God to ensure the work of salvation keep going at all times.

2 Corinthians 8:1-5 Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

According to Apostle Paul they gave their all without holding nothing. With love they commune with one another. One thing is to have the mindset to give and another is to give joyfully.

As children of God as salvation is free which Jesus Christ payed on the cross, we are not meant to pay anything rather we give to foster the continuous work of Jesus Christ

God bless us as we give to work of God.

Giving should be done cheerfully and not by force. Thanks for sharing.
