Religion as we know is the people worship their God and in religion we have different kinds of religion which are christain, Muslim, Hinduism and so on. Above all the, christainity is a religion where we worship the true God on truth and in spirit.
According to bro Eli he said that religion was gotten from the Greek word threskeia which means to tie again wich youcan also say worshipping. That's why any one worship and studies the word of God there is this closer work with he/ she experiences.
One question one may ask is that is religion needed for salvation? Then answer is Yes ,why because as we know that religion is an act of worship and in religion we worship God( adorned Him) with that it qualifies one for salvation and you can't say you know God or seve God without belonging to a religion (christainity).
Jesus Christ who happened to be the first born of our Christianity, when you do not accept the religion of Jesus means you don't accept Jeus as your lord and personal saviour. After Adam gone astray as a result of the evil fruit he ate, Jesus came and brought us back to God that we may commune with God and reconcile us back to God as wee can see in the book of Malachi 3 vs 7.
The book of James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. The religion of Christianity which was founded by Jesus Christ is a religion of holiness and love(charity), showing love to those that are fatherless and windows with an extension of telling that there is no best religion than Christianity.
In summary, the best place to hide yourself is in the true religion which is Christianity and there comes salvation. Don't forget as a christain when you are a blessing to others, you will not lack anything.
