Important points I learnt from God's word discussed.
Man's desire strikes God. Doing good starts with God. It's God that gives the desire to have the intention of doing good. To know the things about God is the important thing.
Colossian 3:2 talks about don't desire things on the earth. Seeking God is our primary duty in life.
Act 17:28 talks about that in God we live and have our being. It's our obligation to seek our creator. God is not far from us if we're seeking him. God has a commandment for man to seek him.
Two things exist in the world. Good and evil. The seed that fell on good ground flourish. The seed is the word of God. They're not literally seeds. Those who are at the wayside are those that heard the word. The wayside is the heart of men. The devil is easily accessible to those by the wayside. The rocky ground is the heart of men. When temptations come it dries away.
That which fell on thorns are those due to riches, ambitions, pleasures, vices, could not hold on. The thorny heart is after his ambition. Those on good grounds are those in an honest and good heart, who heard the word and kept it. A man who's heart is hard, full of thorns, vices is likened to a thorny ground. Among the hearts of men, they're evil innately
The following were my old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening.
- I believed before doing good is our will.
- I believe before that riches are the most important thing
How teaching affects me as a better person.
1.I now know that it's God who inspires men to do good.
2.I now know that good and evil are the only two things that exist in life
3.I now know that it's our obligation to seek our creator.
4.I now know that God is not far from us
5.I now know that the seed in the parable referred to the word .
