Important points I learnt from God's word discussed.
Being in Christ is for change to happen and for transformation. After baptism we'll walk in Christ. They're two kinds of sins.
There's a sin unto death and a sin not unto death. We should just obey God.
If you don't expel evil people, others will do the same. Wicked people should be put away. There's no rebaptism in the bible.
He who blasphemes against the holy spirit there's no forgiveness.
We should abstain from meat offered to idols, eating blood, fornication, etc.
There's life in the blood and as such we shouldn't eat/drink blood. When food is offered to idols, the holy spirit forbids us from eating it. Idols are the works of man's hand. They're statutes made of gold, silver, wood and plastic. We should kneel only before God almighty.
Christians are not allowed to eat food offered to idols. Idolatry has a big effect. It can corrupt your spirit. Food offered to idols defile our conscience. Food offered to idols becomes abominable to God. Idols are false gods. Idols and angels shouldn't be worshiped. Only before God should we kneel everyday.
Even Mary prayed to God. She worshiped Jesus to whom she gave birth to. The god of Muslims is different from the God of christians . They're many gods invented by men. Men have many gods.
The following were my old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening.
1.i thought it was proper to worship Mary .
How teaching affects me as a better person.
1.I now know that we shouldn't kneel before any gods
2.I now know that evil people should be expelled from the church to avoid them corrupting others.
3.I now know that christians are not allowed to eat food offered to idols.
4.I now know that there's no rebaptism in the bible.
5.I now know that blasphemy against the holy Spirit won't be forgiven.
