Hello everyone and welcome to my post.
I am happy and grateful to the Lord Almighty for allowing me to see the light of today and to join the teachings of Bro Dan.
I learnt plenty things and I am thankful to him for the lessons he passed.
Though not the mass indoctrination, It also holds a lot of teachings accompanied by blessings.
In the beginning of the session, an opening prayer was said. The lessons learnt are as follows.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
The light that has come into the world is Christ himself. He said this in the Bible passage below 👇
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Jesus said that what he teaches is not his own, but it is of he who sent him. In other to hear God, we must listen to the teachings of Christ. This is seen in the passage below 👇
John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
God made man to be upright but men have sought out many intentions. For us not to stray, we should keep to the doctrines of God.
Ecclesiastes 7:29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.
We should never deny our Lord Jesus Christ neither should we bring in our own teachings that is not of God, instead we should submit to the righteousness of God
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Each and everyone who believes in Christ is justified by all things.
Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
The believers are those who listen to the voice of God.
We should listen to the voice of God because we are the ship while Christ is the shepherd an he knows when we are listening and when we are not listening.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Believing means obeying. However, we should believe in Christ in other to see the light.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
It is the law of Christ that we must believe, listen to and obey, not he law of Moses.
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
He that abide in Christ is cleansed.
The law of God is holy and it will sanctify us if we receive it
Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
These are the lessons from todays session and I am happy to have been among those that benefited from it.
