The name of the lord is a strong tower, Christ isn't firm foundation, the rock on which I stand unshakably.
Even though I am a sinner, i have been shown mercy and give grace to see the light of every single day. Today is no exception.
As a Christian, the struggle to expand my knowledge has been part of a part of me for a very long time.
I can learn new things now, all thanks to Brother Eli Soriano for teaching he doctrines of Christ in the MCGI Mass Indoctrination session.
I joined the session today and it felt really good as I learnt new things as always.
The concept of prayer is one every single Christian needs to know. It is right to pray to the father, however, we must understand what we need to do before we pray. We should make sure that our heart is pure before we go on our kneels to pray.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
All negativities, every bad thing should be out away from our heart. The Bible do not give fale hope. How can be pray in the name of Jesus when our hearts is not pure? We should forgive everyone and make sure that we keep a clean heart before going to God in prayers.
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
The purification of Christ is in obedience. We must obey the truth.
1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
What truth are we to obey? The truth is seen in:
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
As you can see, the word is the truth.
As Christians, there a e laws, rules and regulations set by God for us to follow. We must stay away from iniquity and make sure that we are clean. This iniquity can be seen in:
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
As men who are raised in the way of the lord, we should honor our wives, respect her and not make her feel inferior in public because she is the weaker vessel. We should not cheat on our wives, maintain her and make her happy always.
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
The reason why we should keep our hearts clean and pure is because the Lord searches heart.
Jeremiah 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
