Christ is my firm foundation and I am glad to have the opportunity to be a learn his doctrines.
The mass indoctrination session is really helpful as it has constantly refined my knowledge through the teachings of the doctrines of Christ.
I joined the mass indoctrination and as always, I was able to learn a thing or two.
When we are of clean heart, God will answer our prayers even before we finish praying. God knows what we want to ask of him, so we should not use vain repetitions when praying to him. We should go direct to the point and state our needs to God.
Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Most people pray and repeat the words they use. However, it is very important that our prayers should be direct because God knows what we want to as from him even before we open our mouth to pray
Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Daniel faced towards the temple when he prayed because it is in the temple in which the Lord is praised.
Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
There is a difference between the righteous people who obey God and the unbelievers who do not obey the words of God.
For the Catholics, the saints are in heaven but that is false. They are dead but have not been resurrected.
Psalms 16:3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
This has not yet happened because Christ has not yet come
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The resurrection is done by Christ when he comes for the the second time
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
It is God's delight that men are living in holiness. God loves the prayer of the righteous and despise the prayer of the wicked.
To God be the glory that I was able to see the light of another, learnt new things from the doctrines of Christ which was broke down to us by Brother Eli Soriano.
These are the few things I got acquainted with today.
