Reaction to Brother Eli concept of death, heaven and the prison

God is the ruler the entire universe and what he says stands, no matter what.

One concept that has been very complex for us as humans is that of life and death.
Where do we go after we die? To heaven where it is said that every thing is peaceful and there is rest or to hell where things are the other way round and there is nothing but suffering and punishment there. How sure are we that the heavens and hell exists?

This post is my reaction to Brother Eli Soriano video based on the concept of death that was posted yesterday.

If youre a good person, your soul will go to God's alter in heaven.

A person who does good is destined to go to heaven. There are many criteria to go to heaven but when a good person dies, a person who kept God's commandments and served in truth and in spirit dies, their soul leaves their body and ascend into heaven. Heaven is a place of eternal life, eternal peace without worries of any sought.

Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

The soul of the righteous people that were slain for the word of God are under the peaceful alter of God resting. This is quite different from when a wicked person dies. Their soul locked away in a prison to be punished for the sins they committed.

Christ was very merciful to the extent that when he died, he went down to the prison to preach to the prisoners there. He was so merciful that he preached to those who were already condemned so they could find vindication.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Christ was being out to death in the flesh, but because he was a good person, he was merciful, he was awakened in the spirit. If we too follow the steps of Christ, preach to sinners, win souls for God, and d good things, we will also be awakened in the spirit and make heaven.
