Hello brothers in Christ ,am grateful to share what l learned during the 6th day of mass indoctrination by brother Eli.
I learnt that we should not hide our sins but rather accept and confess our sins so that they can be forgiven.
PROVERB 28 :13
In proverbs Solomon gave a full insight about how to deal with sins.lets read,
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
As we confess our sins, we should also confess to each other.Pray for each other as Elijah did.
James 5:16-19
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.The fevent prayer of the righteous man avalieth much.
The reason we are to pray for our brother or sister ,how the Bible talks about the prayers of the righteous soul.
Luke 4 :25-27
But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian
Elija had to pray for the people around him so that those people will turn from their sins and join the heavenly father.Out of what happened the people saw the need and returned back to the lord.
Let our prayer reach all soul because of our right ways and grace from the lord.
When we pray lets believe that the lord will hear us for His words says.
Isaiah 65:24
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. We are made to understand that while even we pray God listens and will grant our heart desires.
Since our Heavenly father is ready to hear us ,we are not to use repetitive word as other do for our father knows before we even pray.
Mathew 6:7-8
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Lets forgive those who wrong us and also admitte our sins.
If we are facing any issues of life I learnt we should trust only in the father and pray through Jesus Christ for He will provide.
For Jesus said if we will ask anything in His name He will answer.Lets love ,care and stay away from sin.God bless you for reading.
