Hello brothers and sisters in christ ,it is an honor to share with you what l learnt during the first day of mass indoctrination by dear Brother Eli .
WE MUST WATCH OUT
We must watch out because their are so many doctrines circulating around the body of christ.Most of them teach their own doctrine .The doctrine we should follow is the doctrine of our lord Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 6:3
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
LETS LISTEN AND FOLLOW WHAT JESUS CHRIST TAUGTH
We are not under the mosaic dispensation.Things done during that time are not done in out time.
We are to listen to what Jesus Christ taught us.For the heavenly father has already instructed us to listen to Him
Matthew 17:5
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him
THE FIRST DOCTRINE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS BAPTISM
Matthew 28: 19 -20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: note
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world
Acts 2:41
Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
Since we are to listen and follow Jesus Christ ,His first doctrine is Baptism and this is done in the Church of God.
Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
We are baptized ,it means our sins are been washed away.We become part of the church of God.
To become a member of a true church you need to accept the doctrines of Jesus Christ and be baptised.
Being part of the church of God is one of the primary doctrines which our Jesus Christ commend us to do.
People who refuse to do this become anti christ.
Colossians 1 :18
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
Jesus christ is the Head of the Church of God that is why it is expected of us to follow His teaching.
John12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
