My appreciation goes to God, been in his presence was an awesome experience. It was really a great opportunity indeed listening to brother Daniel speak. From the service we learnt that we should always long to do good and never king to do evil.
what I learnt.
From the Bible in Ephesians 5:33 from here Christian men are encouraged to love their wives, they should love them as much as they love themselves. Only a man who loves his wife and respects her will enjoy her loyalty and respect, so every man is encouraged to love his wife and respect her to help her win the win the Christian race. On the other hand every wife should see that she is loyal and respects her husband
I learnt that it is a sin for a man to mistreat his beloved wife, I was also made to understand that it is a sin as well for a woman to cheat on her husband. Therefore as husband and wife they are advised to love one another until death do them part.
From the Bible in Isiah 58:7 from here i learnt that, as believer we are expected to give food to the hungry in our midst, we should also provide shelter to homeless, we are as well expected to provide clothes to the naked each time we see one, it is our duty. The Bible made clear to us that, we should give our bread to the hungry and as well welcome the poor who are homeless to our house, each time we see the naked we should clothe them, these are the word of God, we are one body in Christ Jesus and this is what he commands us to do.
From the Bible in Matthew 5:28 from here I learnt that, as Christian men we should not lust after a woman that is not our wife, no matter how beautiful she might be never lust after her.
We were made to understand that whoever looks at a woman lustfully has committed adultery with her in his heart. Only looking at a woman who is not your wife lustfully is a sin. Brethren should avoid looking at a woman lustfully so as not to sun against God.
From the Bible in 1 Corinthians 7:4 from here I learnt that, the woman has no power over her her body and so does the man too has no power over his body. There they should never refuse to offer one another their body unless if they are fasting, they should abstain from sex so that they can get answers to their prayers. Therefore we are made to understand that a husband and a wife should have access to each other unless they are fasting.
From the Bible in Matthew 6:16-17 here I learnt, that it is not good when to make it known publicly that we are praying, we are encouraged not to pray like the hypocrites do, don't draw attention to yourself, pray quietly for prayer is a petition to God and should be between you you and the God you are praying to. Your prayer should be more like a secret
From the Bible in Ephesians 5:24 from here I learnt that, women are to subject to their beloved husband same way the church is subjected to Christ, therefore women must follow instructions from their husband and give them the respect they deserve as the man of the house and the head of the family. Every wife is expected to support her husband and help achieve his dreams.
