DAY 9 MASS INDOCTRINATION SERVICE, MCGI CARES COMMUNITY ( 9TH FEBRUARY, 2023).
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus, thank you for stopping by. My name is Olu Thomas and I will be sharing with the community what I learned from day 9 Mass Indoctrination.
Lessons
Let’s consider one another to good work, let us provoke one another to do good, to love one another. God’s commandment is for us to love God and love one another. We should treat the brethren equally, don't see it fit because a brother wear fine cloth with gold ring than a brother that wear filthy old clothes just because he don't have, don't show differences, show them love, treat them both with respect and honour. We should not despise the church of God by humiliating those who have nothing, we should not despise but rather embrace them and show themthe riches of God kingdoms and teach them the ways of the father, show them love and God will surely reward your act.
Singing is one of the good things that man must do, angels sang to God to glorify him, God created the angels and they sing of His glory, and His Majesty reign forever, and we human beings also sing to God in honor and adoration of His name, to glorify Him and He is God in the highest and we also sing to our Fathers and our mothers, we also sing to our spouses, what triggers us to sing for someone, is how kind and merciful the person is to us, God has been faithful to us from the ages past and that’s why His name is forever more. We sing His name to our brothers and sisters and in the assembly, we should sing of His praises. In the gathering of believers or Christians who do we sing to, is it to holy Mary or to the disciples or angels, we sing psalms and hymns to our Lord highest to the one who is the only true God. In the book of Samuel 16:22, it says that whenever the spirit of God came on Saul, David as a servant of God would take up his lyre and play it and while playing it relief would come to Saul; he would feel better by the sounds coming out from David lyre and the evil spirit leaves him, so whenever we sing in the spirit of God, people that are posses with evil spirit it will leave them immediately, we don’t just sing for pleasure but we sing to refresh our spirit and send out the evil spirit and we sing to honor and adore the highest God. We also sing for our loved ones.
I also learned that every one of us has sound in us, it should not be only the choir but every one of us has a hymn, and words of instruction, we all have a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation, so everything must be done so that the church may be built up.
And I also learned regards to speaking in tongues, before one should speak in tongues in the gathering there should be one person who can understand me, if there is none then I should pray in the private between me and God, we should not speak in tongues in a gathering most especially if there is no one to interpret it. So everything should be done to edify the body of Christ and to bring unity and understanding to our gathering.
Sunday is the approved day for believers to gather, we might choose to gather any day but the apostles in the bible gather on Sunday, seven days Adventists wrote in their book that believers who gather on Sunday will be giving the mark of the beast, but that is a wrong doctrine, we are supposed to imitate the disciples of Jesus Christ and to work according to His will. So Sunday is a good day for us to worship and is the day that two or three agree and it is agreed in heaven.
God says if the people who are called by His name will humble themselves and call on his name, He will hear us and heals our land, in the gathering of brethren, there is healing because that is what God promises us if we will gather together and pray he will hear us, forgive our sins and heal our land.
I also learned that we should not forsake the gathering of ourselves but we should encourage one another, lets us help one another because the time drawing near,
