There are those who are short sighted and there are those that are long sighted as well as questions that are short sighted and long sighted but there is no problem about the question, the answer must be sighted everywhere
Military is not an organization of death, it is an organization that protect live and property of people, not an organization of killers like mentally of Jehovah witnesses that says all members cannot enter the military because they will be posted to be killed. It's a wrong mentality
2 Peter 1:8-9 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
He that lacked wisdom is short sighted, if you are to kill to protect lifes, that cannot be a crime
Self defence is a right of any living thing, the idea even come from God. In fact the Bible doesn't prohibit you from being a soldier
Luke 3:14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.
As a soldier, you must not kill, your assignment is to protect the society
Practise shooting, be a sharp shooter that you may not kill people, if there are intruders, just apprehend the intruder, target his hand so he won't harm you, if criminal want to run, shoot the leg, not the body or the head
